Johnny Damon reported to camp today, and apparently he didn’t want to be outdone by Evan Longoria’s greaser-do (via Marc Topkin). We’re just not sure if we should call this the “Faux-Rayhawk” or the “Ray-Fauxhawk.” Thoughts?
Damon on his hair: “I started doing this in April or so of last year, and I just don’t want to get rid of it yet. People keep saying that I’m getting old and all that stuff and I want to show them that I’m not. I’m keeping my hair like I had when I was 15.”

From what i understand, Zobrist, Elliot Johnson, Cruz, Mayora and Olmedo are still left to report, which kind of amazes me. 4 of those guys are fighting for roster spots. You would think they would want the extra work. But I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume there are good reasons, like newborns at home, etc.

I vote for Ray-Fauxhawk.
Rays have to pay $3mil this year..good luck on NOT seeing him behind the plate this year…screwed up deal…also hurts Jaso with less playing time!
It’s not a fauxhawk though, the sides are legitimately trimmed. Fauxhawks are just gelled to stick up in the middle.
