Ah, if it wasn’t so late, Joe would be raising a glass of an adult beverage. Sadly, 5 a.m. comes awful early.

Leave it to the pride of the corn, Hellboy, to rescue the Rays pitching woes. Dude was money. Good control. Great to watch.

Glad to see the Rays hit with some power other than Dan Johnson (who did it again!). Crawford and Dirtbag went deep. Finally, maybe Dirtbag is breaking out of his power-hitting slump?

So now the Rays have a shot to pull within a half-game of the Yankmees if David Price can come through later tonight (yes, it is well-past midnight here on the west coast of the east coast).

Hope is not lost. Not yet.

Do you think they will move up Wade's next start because he didn't get a full outing? I would rather see him up there than anyone not named Price.

It's about damn time the Rays actually pitched like a major league ball club again. Now if they win tomorrow they'll split the series and everyone can stop hitting the panic button. For now. lol
We can still win the AL East and the American League if they finish strong.

The "panic button" goes away or comes back on after tonight..But we got our main man vs their main man...
Now its up to the hitters...with no Pena/Upton we have a good shot... also its up to Maddon..to do whats "best for the team"...not what's "nice" to certain players!
