Occasional Rays relief pitcher Dale Thayer, who is currently in triple-A, made what could be argued as one of the best defensive plays of the season. Here is the video (forward to 1:20). [ESPN Video]

Listening to Bobby V is utterly painful. Sounds like he does voice work for the Muppet Show.
Your right, Bobby does sound like a mupet. Plus, he never says anything good about the Rays.
He actually predicted the them to win the World Series at the beginning of the year. He said against the cubs, but still that’s more than anyone else.
I must have missed it, because I never heard him say that.
I’ll give Dale an A+ for this effort, but Buehrle still has him beat.
did you or anyone else see what he ended up ranking on the “Buehrle Meter”?
Nope. I don’t think they compared him on the Buehrle meter that night. Which is kind of wierd, because they rank a lot of plays that aren’t even half as good as that.
Pleased to see cork figured out how to grab that from ESPN. I couldn’t do it. Thanks.
Off-topic, but I’m watching the Giant’s game and Pat got the Bat back…he hit 2 HRs…one a grand salami. I’m about to puke
Of course Fat Pat is hitting well. He’s back in the NL. Their pitchers isn’t nearly as good as the AL’s. It’s espesially not as good as AL East pitching.
So, right now, Pat can suck a Bat!
