The dean of Tampa Bay sports radio, Steve Duemig, of WDAE-AM 620, will chat live with Cork Gaines, the esteemed father and caretaker of these here pages at about 5 p.m today.
Cork joins the top-rated ”Big Dog” to talk all things Rays and about the nastiness of drinking from a plastic beer cup plucked from the trash at Tropicana Field.

We use our cups (esp the big ones) to pee pee in.. so we don’t have to wait in line at the rest room…nobody ever says anything unless the people in front of us get splashed a little bit..I never figured they would use them again…but oh well!
Dirty cups is child’s play compared to a pennant race impacted by the world’s stupidest ground rules coming to bite the Rays in the behind. New grounds rules shouldn’t be that hard to develop (foul ball if it hits something) and we shouldn’t have waited for them to hurt the Rays (as opposed to the lucky breaks they got in 2007 and 2008 from the upper rings) before focusing on it.
