Hey, it’s Rocco Pavano …
who is henry wrigley? sounds like he should be 90 years old and own the cubs.
Any news on Josh Sale? when is the deadline to sign him?
The deadline to sign draft picks is August 15th. There’s plenty of time. First rounders always hold out for a while to sign.
Did anyone happen to notice LH RJ Swindle’s stats in AAA? He could just be another Jon Switzer from 06/07, but his stats are ridiculous right now. Why not let him replace the crap shoot that is Randy Chaote?
.96 era, 37.1 ip, 24 hits, 4 bb, 39 k, .182 baa.
Lefties are only hitting .157 off him and he has 28 k in 15.1 ip against them vs only 3 bb and 8 hits.
Wrigley is a 3rd baseman who raked in Charlotte and was moved up to Double-A a few months ago. Power hitter type.
oh nice? how old is he? is there some buzz forming?
How about Matt Moore? He is finding his pitching again, goodness he has been on fire over the last 2 months.
Seriously.. that is a great sign as he is one of the highest rated pitching prospects we have and for whatever reason a lot of our high rated minor league pitchers are getting beat up.
Also, Jake Thompson has gotten off to a good start, 4 games pitched and no earned runs allowed. And the 10th rounder the Wunderlich guy is coming out raking. O’Connor is struggling and Derek Dietrich is hit or miss
