Any chance of a Rodriguez down – Blalock up move in the near future? I see it as a possibility once the catcher situation gets ironed-out…

I would be surprised if it happens anytime soon. JoeMa loves guys on his bench that can play a lot of positions and that is not Blalock. I think they are going to give Rodriguez plenty of opportunities to prove he belongs. I’d say without an injury, we wouldn’t see Blalock before the all-star break.

Gotta admit, if you’re going to be “stuck” in MiLB, Durham is probably one of, if not the best place to be.
