I don’t really think he’s All-Star worthy. He’s having a nice season, but middle-relief (until the closer gets hurt) doesn’t cut it.
Howell is one of the best relievers in baseball and his numbers are worthy. He definitely deserves a spot. Closers are overrated. I’d rather have him on my team than almost any “elite closer” in the majors.
