Yes, that is a guy wearing a retro #33 Jose Canseco “Devil Rays” jersey, showing up on TV. The Indians would go on to score 11 straight runs following this moment in what can only be termed a “Devil Raysian” performance.

Cork, with all due respect, I was going to call you out for jinxing the team by ending your “Devil Rays” protest. The way you did it, it gave me the jinxy creeps because it was like you were saying, “well, they’re back over .500 so it’s up and up from here.” Since you ended your protest, they’ve lost 2 games they should have won, and Aki’s out for the season.
