Much better title. The likes of which we’ve come to expect and love.
yeah. the old one was the equivalent of not running all the way to first base on a ground out.
Good analogy. That would’ve made you the BJ Upton of the Blog-o-sphere
I doubt it will continue, but Bartlett has been stinging the ball. Lost in last night’s heroics was his two out RBI double that tied the game at 2-2 in the 5th inning. In the big 6th inning, his walk and stolen base did not lead to any runs but prolonged the inning and might have helped blow the game open had Crawford come through.
I was a little upset with a couple of his throws from the normal shortstop position on routine plays that required Pena to make extra effort to get the out. In one case it was particularly dangerous as the throw pulled Pena off the bag right into the runner Konerko whom Carlos then had to tag as he went by.
I’d like to see another solid performance tonight from the Kazmanian Devil. I think he’s going to be the one on Cy Young watch before too long. I think Ozzie’s tweeking his line-up tonight. That only means good things for Kaz.
