[THE ARCHIVES] One Year Ago On Rays Index

The Archives No Comments »

One year ago on Rays Index we speculated that Elijah Dukes latest transgression was premeditated to force a trade from the Rays…He would be traded later in the day to the Washington Nationals for Glenn Gibson. It has always been our stance that if Gibson never pitches for the Rays, it was still a good deal.

Reaction in the Nationals’ blogosphere was not positive with some worried about what Dukes would do and other worried the Nats gave up too much.
