I think the key is the word “team”. If you win as a team, and I believe that’s what the Rays did, you have to give credit to a team leader, or leaders. Maddon impresses me as an excellent leader – intelligent, very clear in his communications, clear in his expectations and just very likable as a person. What more can you ask from your leader?
