Our first reaction was to spit out a mouth full of red wine (in honor of the Red Sox demise) in a fit of laughter. Our second reaction was a state of panic hoping somebody else noticed and posted the clip today. The guys at Sox & Dawgs did not disappoint.
If we could spend a day with any member of the Rays, Joe Maddon would be our first, second and third choice.

I actually saw Sager after game one in the brew house in a similar outfit and was wondering who the hell he was. Well in watching game two the next day, I found out.

I’m not sure exactly how Red Sox fans feel about Sager, but when I was at the game last Saturday and Sager was down at the touch tank for around half an hour, all the Red Sox fans were trying to get him to wave at them.
And he did.
All 5000 freakin’ times they yelled at him. He was almost forced to give them a salute (he actually saluted to them) because he’s pretty much a celebrity and that’s what they have to do to prevent from being labeled as an ass.
But save the love for someone cool, like… Todd Kalas!
