As we mentioned earlier today, this week’s Rays Index Live Blog-A-Baloo will be held this evening at 6:00 for game 3 of the Rays-Red Sox series.
Well, there will be a slightly different format tonight.
We are here to announce that we will be joined by a special guest: “Sully” of Sully Baseball for the first-ever LIVE BLOG ‘O WAR! You might remember Sully Baseball from yesterday when we took them to task for ragging on Rays fans.
I will be handling most of the commentary while the Rays are batting and Sully will take over in the bottom half of each inning.
So be sure to check back here later tonight. We will get things started just before 6:00: Game on!

These are seeds of a new heated rivalry. A Rivalry that will last exactly 2 more weeks when there is even more scouting on the Rays starting pitching and they start falling back to the middle of the pack.

Just read the archive of the blog – o – war, did you seriously say that Man-Ram is the greatest hitter of our generation??? I’m fairly certain the greatest hitter of all time is at home watching the game tonight, probably icing his sore knees and thanking God that he’s not playing for SF anymore.
that is the one player i would be willing to let you argue…BUT, I would argue that Manny was actually more consistent. A career batting average of .313 (compared to .298 for Bonds) and of course there was the other thing
