  • Rumors (unconfirmed) are bouncing around the internets that the Rays will announce their new color schemes before the end of Spring Training.
  • Here is some timely news from the Rays own website. The team will sport a commemorative patch to mark their tenth season as a franchise. Kinda old news don’t you think? DRaysBay reported this over a month ago. Must have been a slow news day.
  • The executive director for the players union, Donald Fehr, met with the Rays players yesterday. Afterwards he stated that he believes the Tampa Bay area can be a strong baseball market. He also stated that there are no plans to realign the Rays out of the AL East.
  • Nobody knows how good Carl Crawford can be. Not even C. C. But we know it sure is going to be fun finding out.
