Four Biscuits collected 2 hits each, including Wes Bankston and Gabriel Martinez. Bankston is now hitting .338, but he continues to struggle in his switch to third base, committing 2 errors giving him 11 on the season. Montgomery is 10-7, tied for first place in the Southern League South.
Stockton 7, Visalia 3. Derek Feldcamp fell to 0-2 as he failed to get out of the first inning, giving up 7 hits and 5 runs, raising his ERA to 9.49. Reid Brignac hits his 4th home run of the season and collected 3 hits. He is now hitting .385 and has 17 RBI. Visalia is 6-11, 6.5 games out in the California League North.
Southwest Michigan 4, Cedar Rapids 3, 12 innings. Michael Wlodarczyk pitched 6 solid innings giving up only 1 run, but the Devil Rays needed extra frames to beat the Kernals. Brandon Rousseve scored the winning run a wild pitch in the twelfth inning. Left fielder James Hall collected 3 hits and is now hitting .310, while right fielder Garrett Groce had a pair of hits and raised his average to .348. Southwest Michigan is now 7-9 and 4 back in the Midwest League East.
